Rhode Island

Writer's picture: A+SA+S

Over many seas...

And under many trees

Lies a land that frees

frees the mind

With dock pilings lined, and oceans of a single kind...

And clear water that shined

Until everyone will find

The place where dreams are borne...

Seagulls cry

and cormorants fly

Close to the water, never shy

And I shall always sigh

When my eye meets the shimmering sea...

For this, I do not know why...

Why difficult it is to pass by

The place where the lovely ocean meets the sky...

The rocky coast is a feast to the eye

And the cocky loon tells a lie...

Always last, but never least

But as the salty breeze blows over the seas

We return home to the flickering candle made by bees.
